If you go to www.searsparts.com you can see a parts breakdown, showing how it comes apart. Whirlpool may have the same thing. You can also contact Whirlpool and ask them.
Good day, A slow continues drip, but still dispenses O.K. is caused by the dual water valve on the bottom rear of the machine not closing completely. Only fix is replacing the water valve assembly.
You have a water leak somewhere (I'm assuming this water sound is constant). If not write me back for other possible solutions.
The only place water comes into the freezer is for an ice maker or a door water dispenser. Check around the ice maker for a leak. If there is a water dispenser in the door then check the piping to it also.
There is a drain in the bottom of the freezer compartment which is there so when the frost is melted by the defrost heaters, it has somewhere to go. This drain drains into the "drip pan" (or condensate pan) in the bottom of the unit. Here the water will sit until it is evaporated into the air.
If this helps you, please select YES to the first two ratings questions. Thank you, and Good Luck.
Hi: Go easy on my rating as this is just something to try. You say it dosn't have a dispenser. Does it have an Ice maker? If so is it hooked up? If not try raising the lever on the ice maker up to the off position. The water valve may ve trying to open and without water pressure it will make a noise. It would also be related to the switches on the door. I hope this helps, Jeff
It should be on the right hand side in the back take off the compressor cover on the back should be 8 or so 1/4 screws nutdriver type and then two more hold on the water valve. If you have a RO system hooked up to refrig you may need to change the filters on the ro or just change the filter on the refrig. those two will also cause the water to drip thru the valve allowing it to drip on the front
I would suggest that you get a certified person to come out and look at it you very well could have bent the doors in the move.
but... if you want to do it yourself. click here for a walkthrough
for your drip: Flush air from the water system the first time it is used and after
replacing the filter. Air trapped in the water line or filter may
slowly travel through the coiled water reservoir to the dispenser,
pushing any water ahead of it. This can cause the dispenser to
drip. Water needs to completely fill the lines for all air to be
cleared.
Use a sturdy container to press and hold the
water dispenser bar for 5 seconds, then release it for 5 seconds.
Repeat until the water begins to flow. Once the water begins to flow,
continue pressing and releasing the dispenser bar (5 seconds on,
5 seconds off) for an additional 2 minutes. Repeat if dripping starts
again because air can re-enter from the water supply.
As air is cleared from the system, water may spurt from the water dispenser.
Make sure the refrigerator is connected to a cold water supply.
One
or two drops of water immediately after dispensing is normal. It may be
necessary to hold the container under the dispenser for 2 to 3 seconds
after releasing the dispenser lever.
