This could vary depending on what version of Windows you're running. Open Control Panel, Display. There should be an option to increase character size there.

Make font larger on HP1510 printer

What font are you referring to? Have you prepared a document in a word processing program, or added text to an image file, and are disappointed because you want to see the text printed larger? If so, your best solution is to edit the document or image and change to a larger text size. For example, most text documents will normally default to either a size 10 or 11 text which is readable but small. Changing to size 12 or 14 will make the text look larger onscreen, and the text will also print larger. The font name and font size should be displayed on one of your processing program's toolbars, and is easily changed to a different font name or size. If you are simply copying an already printed document and want the text to appear larger, you should refer to your printer's User Guide. If you don't have the User Guide, you can download a free copy at this link:

How to change text size in Internet Explorer

Some web sites use larger text while others use small, hard-to-read text. To change the size of text that appears on a web page in Internet Explorer, follow one of the two procedures below.<br /> <br /> <b>To change text size:</b><br /> <br /> To make the text that is displayed in your web browser larger or smaller, click View on Internet Explorer's menu bar. From the drop-down menu, select Text Size. The five choices for text size will appear: Largest, Larger, Medium, Smaller, and Smallest. Medium is selected by default, but you can choose the size that you want. To change to a different size, just go back to the View menu and choose a new size.<br /> <br /> Internet Explorer saves the selection that you make. If you load a new web page, or close and reopen your browser, the text size will remain at the level that you've chosen, until you choose differently.<br /> <br /> <b>To zoom:</b><br /> <br /> Another way to alter text size is to use the Zoom feature. Zoom increases or decreases text size, but it will also make everything else on the page (such as graphics) larger or smaller as well. Zoom options can be found under the View menu, next to Zoom. You can choose a preset percentage to zoom, or enter a custom value, or just go larger or smaller by stepped increments.<br /> <br /> The nice thing about zoom is that it has keyboard shortcuts associated with it, unlike the Text Size feature. By pressing [CTRL][+] you can zoom in (make everything appear larger) and [CTRL][-] will zoom out. If you want to reset the zoom value back to the standard view, press [CTRL][0]. These shortcuts will affect text size, but only in proportion with everything else on the page.<br /> <br /> Some web sites (such as Yahoo) are designed so that the Text Size feature won't override the text size specified in the site's code. For sites like these, you can use the Zoom feature to enlarge or reduce text size.

How to change view size in windows 8

You can change the view size in Windows 8 in the following ways:
1) By changing the size of text and other items on the desktop
You can change the size of text and other items (like icons) on your desktop without disturbing your current screen resolution settings. To do this, follow the steps mentioned ahead:a)Open Screen Resolution by swiping in from the right edge of the screen, tapping "Search" (or if you're using a mouse, pointing to the upper-right corner of the screen, moving the mouse pointer down, and then clicking "Search"), enter "Make text larger" in the search box, and then tapping or clicking "Make text and other items larger or smaller".
b) Drag the slider until the items in the preview image are the size you want them to be.
c) Tap or click "Apply".
You'll see the change the next time you sign in to Windows.
Also, you can change the text size for specific items (such as Window title bars or tooltips) without affecting the size of anything else on your desktop. Follow these steps to do this:
a) Open Screen Resolution by swiping in from the right edge of the screen, tapping "Search" (or if you're using a mouse, pointing to the upper-right corner of the screen, moving the mouse pointer down, and then clicking "Search"), entering "Make text larger" in the search box, and then tapping or clicking "Make text and other items larger or smaller".
b) Under "Change only the text size", choose the item you'd like to change and pick a text size. If you want the text to be bold, select the "Bold" check box.
c) Tap or click "Apply".
You'll see the change the next time you sign in to Windows.

2) By changing screen resolution
You can change the view size on your desktop by changing screen resolution settings. To do this, follow these steps:
a) Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, tap "Settings", and then tap "Change PC settings" (If you're using a mouse, point to the lower-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer up, click "Settings", and then click "Change PC settings").
b) Tap or click "PC and devices", then tap or click "Display".
c)Tap or click the resolution slider and drag it until you find your desired resolution.
d) Tap or click "Apply".

The letters are to small and pictures too,i need to zoomout alittle bit..

This solution is for windows 7

To make the text on your screen larger or smaller

Open Screen Resolution by clicking the the Start button, clicking Control Panel, and then, under Appearance and Personalization, clicking Adjust screen resolution.

Choose one of the following:

Smaller - 100% (default). This keeps text and other items at normal size.

Medium - 125%. This sets text and other items to 125% of normal size.

Larger - 150%. This sets text and other items to 150% of normal size. This option appears only if your monitor supports a resolution of at least 1200 x 900 pixels.

Click Apply.

To see the change, close all of your programs and then log off of Windows. This change will take effect the next time you log on.

Text size must be about a 5. Too small to read. How can I make larger?

You can change the size of the text by going to the Start menu, then Control Panel. Click on Display, and then from there you can change the size of the text. It increases the DPI of the text so that it's larger.

I wauld like to make the lettering larger and add this to my toolbar. The lettering is so small i am getting eye strain!!!

If you mean you want to see the text in your internet browser larger, then in Internet Explorer explorer left-click 'View' (in toolbar next to 'Edit') and then slide down to text size and select larger or largest. In Firefox, select Tools, then Options, then Conten (third tab on top), then change the font size by selecting a larger number from the drop-down menu that currently should be shoung a number across from the font type (like Times New Roman). Sorry I can't increase the size of this text for you to read this solution.

P.S. Both I.E and Firefox have zoom functions under 'View' to temporarily zoom in or out on text and images.

How do i make the font larger on my netbook model LT2044

To increase the Font size in Internet Explorer, open IE and click on View>Text Size and select "larger". If you want to increase the fonts size of the Windows itself, then you can decrease the resolution of the video adapter. To do so, Right click on empty space on your computer desktop> Properties> Click on settings> Under "Screen resolution" make it to lesser and click OK.

Print to large on my monitor.

If you are using internet explorer, you can hold down the Ctrl key and hit the - key to make the text smaller or the + key to enlarge the text. If you have a wheel mouse, hold down the Ctrl key and turn the wheel on your mouse, and that will make it larger or smaller. If you can get to the view tab click it then text size, I have mine set on medium. Good Luck.
