Sounds like the Magnetron might done. Checked the Thermal fuse? (should reset)

This is usually caused by a bad door switch or loose door switch mount but other common causes of a failure to heat are:
- loose connection at the magnetron
- problem or loose conneciton on the control unit circuit board
- bad magnetron or other high voltage part

Do the inside light and turntable come on when you try to cook?
Is it making any unusual noise or is it louder or quieter than normal?
Do you have the model number?
SOURCE: Everything else works but will not heat anything.
Im assuming you dont have testing equipment. The best solution is to replace the capacitor and HV diode. Good chance that is the problem. If no heat still, replace the magnatron, definately will work correctly.(Sorry, to much to explaine otherwise relating to measurement and values). Let me know if still notright).

It sounds like the magnetron may have
either failed or is not being supplied with the extremely high
voltage required to run it. YOUR
SAFETY IS PARAMOUNT This is a job for a professional but if
you are safety clued up, here's instruction.
Make sure the !!!!any
capacitors are discharged!!!!! before attempting any sort of
repair.
Check the door interlock switches first then the high
voltage diode with either an AVO model 8 or moving coil meter on high
resistance range for short circuit, (DVM's won't show the fault!),
the capacitor can fail and go short circuit, the feed fuse on the
primary of the high voltage transformer and then finally, the
magnetron is best checked by substitution.

SOURCE: Electrical short /pop sound & now it doesn't heat. Everything else works. Any idea what went out.
The signs are not always evident, but from the description the magnetron has failed.
