How do I reset LG LMHM2017ST microwave?

My old sears microwave light bulb is in the upper front left hand with bulb top up and socket down but behind a screen. There are screws to remove the upper fan apparatus, which appears to make the side available to extract the bulb. Probably a very special bulb, so I would get one before going to that trouble. It might also be the switch that is bad rather than the bulb. That probably requires removing the outer surrounding cover.

up plug the Microwave from the power take the cover off and you will see the cam plates make sure thy lock replace cove and then do a test do not turn on when the cover is off or pluget in.

Sounds like a 'gas sensor' (whatever that is) error. I recommend calling Samsung Support or a qualified Microwave Technician


SMH2117S/XAA Microwave Is Displaying An Error Code If your microwave is displaying an error code, such as -SE-, E-11, E-12, E-13, or E-14, or any other trouble code not listed here, cycle the power to the microwave by either unplugging the unit, or cycling the circuit breaker for approximately 60 seconds before restoring power.
If the above suggestion does not work,and the error code returns, your microwave will require service.

Thats what is sounds like to me- or the keypad..... Anytime you have multiple malfunctions of of the control panel, it usually is one or the other. Hope this helps. Good luck, Dennis Wayne

You can also try the below procedure in addition to the one i provided during our chating period. it may also be helpful to you.

Make sure your GE microwave is plugged in.

Press and hold the "Clear/Off" button on your microwave's keypad for around three seconds.

Wait for the "L," which indicates the microwave is locked, to disappear from the display.

Open the microwave using the open latch button.
