Wolf Induction cooktop is locked in Showroom mode

My 15 inch wolf induction cooktop is inadvertently locked in showroom mode. The panel controls all blink on and off and there is no obvious way to get it out of this mode. Holding the lock key for 5 seconds or more does nothing. The manual says "call Wolf" for instructions on how to get it out of this mode. Of course today is Saturday so no help from them.
Anyone know how to unlock this mode?

If Shr (5hr) appears on the display then the cooktop is in showroom mode. To exit showroom mode the cooktop must be locked by pressing and holding the key symbol for 5 seconds. After the cooktop is locked, press and hold the melt touch pad for 5 seconds.

Wolf electric induction stovetop

I had that happen once and it went off after a day. I'd suggest maybe turning off the breaker and wait a few minutes and turn it back on. But here's my problem for you. I got the 30" model in March, 2008. The problem I've had is that the induction units cool down and start cycling when I'm cooking something like bacon, or pork chops etc., ie. where you're trying to brown something or sear. They cycle up and down every couple of minutes, so its really annoying. They work fine if I'm boiling water for pasta or sauces, etc. Have you experienced this. I've been working with the dealer and the company and they say its a "software" problem, but they've haven't taken them off the market. I use All-Clad stainless steel pans so that's not the issue. Thanks for your comments.
