My tablet started shutting down and restarting while I was using it. It eventually would do nothing but shut down and restart but only partial start up. It freezes at the Samsung screen and then restarts again. I had to let it do that repeatedly until the battery died. Any suggestions?
Got same problem on my alcatel android phone. it has somethiing to do with heat sensor. I install toogle notification and put battery temperature as notification bar icon. whenever I used the phone for heavy app or charge it with hi-amp charger until it get above 38 degree, it will keep restarting. if it happend, no choice except remove battery until it cool back down.

When its off condition
do Volume Up + Power-button for 3 secs
you will see a screen with exclamation mark with android and some font written in Blue
Do wipe data using Home key to select and volume keys to navigate
then do reboot to system i think it shd fix your issue.

wait can't you just reset it with a needle? i thought most android tablets have this feature. well hopefully this helps some
