Hello. There are several things you can try to unlock the keyboard. - Shutdown the computer, then turn it on afterwards. Check keyboard functionality. - If you're using a desktop, disconnect keyboard, restart computer then plug the keyboard back once the computer has boot up completely. - If you're using a laptop, turn it off, unplug the power cord, remove the battery, re- seat the battery after a minute, plug-in the power cord then turn on the laptop. - Disable On-Screen keyboard - Right click "My Computer" icon on the desktop then select "Properties". Click "Device Manager". Look for the Keyboard, hit the drop down arrow beside it to display the installed keyboard. Right click on it and if you see "Enable", click on it, otherwise it's already enabled.

Open a word processing program and type the word jump on the notebook's keyboard.
If the word displays as jump , then the keyboard is set to its default mode. If the word displays as 140* , then the keyboard has been set to a number pad configuration.
To switch modes, press Fn + Num Lock . (Fn key is next to Ctrl key on the left)
