What's wrong with my dryer?

It stops after 1 to 2 minutes and displays symbol that resembles a partial 6 with 0 next to it. I can't find the Manuel with the alert symbols. Would appreciate some help.

Hi,
I believe its a heat temperature control problem showing in your dryer. Download user manual and look for Information Codes in Troubleshooting page.
Visit this link to download the user manual for Samsung DV306LGW Dryer

I have an aeg washer dryer L87695NWD which is stuck on drying. When I turn the button to select a washing program the drying light stays on, and the washing light is still off.. what can I do?

From user manual:

10.4 At the end of the drying programme

1. The appliance stops automatically.
2. The acoustic signals operate (if they are active).
3. In the display (number "0") comes on.
4. The indicator of button Start/Pause goes off.
5. The last minutes of the drying cycle the appliance performs the
anticrease phase. The anti-crease symbol ietounus3lrwasi2ko2vq2k81km1my9gxk62inwk5r2qaaaabjru5erkjggga=flashes. The
door is still locked (the key ezfxrjud2vanwq0oeawt0sih4u7drnvleuvj3nru5hkbv+p2lq2ra1xbwbjeddwhka3byaaaaasuvork5cyiiasymbol is on).
6. Press button On/Off for some seconds to deactivate the
appliance. After some minutes from the end of the programme,
the energy saving function automatically deactivates the
appliance.
7. When the door locked light goes off you can open the door.
8. Remove the laundry from the appliance. Make sure that the drum
is empty.
9. Keep the door ajar, to prevent mildew and odours.
10. Close the water tap.

If this doesn't help than check:
- If the delay start is set, cancel the setting or wait for the end of
countdown.
- Deactivate the Child Lock function if it is on

If anything of this doesn't help then pay attention to all the symbols appears on the display and check what it means in the user manual.

Runs for 2 mins. then stops, push reset button & will run for 2 minutes & stops again

How long have you had the dryer? It sounds like it is overheating, and the most likely cause is accumulated lint. You can check this by removing the round plastic covers on either side panel. Just rotate them and they will pop out. Clean out any lint you see in the air channels and replace the covers.

Also check your ducting - it may be partially or fully blocked by something. You could test this by disconnecting the ducting, then running the dryer to see if it still shuts off. (Prepare for some loose lint flying out in this event.)
