call the customer service of your service provider ( AT&T,Vodafone,Verizon etc)....they will set up message center number on your phone , the one that you have might be incorrect or it might have been change by mistake...your mobile operator will send you sim updates that will refresh the settings ....and then you will get the text message options

You need to call your service provider to reconfigure the needed settings on your phone.

u must chek ur message center number

Go to settings - phone settings - phone profiles - select the profile you want to change (normally called normal) - go to edit then you can choose the ringtone - go right (oush the right hand arrow on the touchscreen) and you can change the message tone.

it is something that the network and manufactured installed on phone which is annoying the best way is to send texts half and half so they arrive to friends

go to menu - messages - settings - text messages - sending options
there is a box there that will be ticked for delivery report. UNcheck that.

i wouldnt call this a problem so much as a slight inconvenience, it just means you have to go thru one more screen before you get to your phonebook, if you dont want to have to scroll down to the option everytimejust press the number 4 one your keypad. there are otherways to avoid this. from the main screen got to addr. book find the contact and under options select send msg.

in short there is no way to turn this feature off or change the numbers.

When sending text messages on the samsung soul u900 there is a tone sounds for every message sent, can this be disabled and is so how do you disable it, its so annoying!!!

Is this a tone that is played when the screen says 'message sent'?
If so try editing your profiles. In the menu for every profile (with the exception of silent i think) there is an option for phone sound volume. Try putting that to zero......

If its the one that plays becuase you ask for a delivery report of a sent message then you cant silence that without silencing all text messages.
