It means you don't have it set on "power saver" mode. It is showing you that it's plugged in and ready. Go to settings, find "power saver" and turn "on".

SOURCE: Power light blinking 2 times

2 blinks means the unit is having problem with 12 volt supply.
while power on you can check 12DC on power supply before shutdown.if the voltage is constant before shut down I would recommend to replace D board.

SOURCE: Blinking Red Standby Light - No picture

The six blinks indicates that an internal fan is either bad ot blocked by dust or debris, You should be able to look in the back of the unit and see some cooling fans. Chances are one on them is not turning and will need to be replaced

SOURCE: (panasonic TH-42PZ77U plasma) the tv will power on

in protective mode the tv does not turn on and light is blinking, typically we must proceed by elimination as some faulty sections are preventing the tv to switch on. unplug the output power connectors from the power supply until the latter stop clicking. if it is still clicking after every of the output rail have been disconnected, then the power supply itself is faulty.

hope this helps!

SOURCE: panasonic viera tv won't turn on. Power light

hello, you have a either your su, sd or sc boards fualty and it is a driver sos1 thats what the manual reads the best thing to do if your not electronically inclined or able to fix it is to get a service manual and make sure it is for your specific model and size you will find what the 7 blink codes mean, on my side i have a 42 in pana the service manual for this set and your is similar so since it is not the same model i cant tell you exactly what the truoble is but your best bet is to find a service manual find the 7 blink fualt then without getting ripped off you will know what the service man needs to do if you dont know or cant replace the parts yourself that is besides having to download firmware from your computer to a sd card and update your set but you need to solve the blinking code first it may solve the entire issue. the tv should come on when you resolve the blink codes or replace the fualty board or boards

SOURCE: 10 red blinking lights on my Panasonic Plasma TV,

This is a power supply issue - found a company that has used power supplies, they sell them for $60.00. We recommend a professional install the board because the voltage needs to be adjusted after the install or you could damage something else. The high voltage in the set can KILL you soe be very careful. The web address for the PS board is plasmafix.com.

No picture or sound on a Panasonic plasma tv tc-p50st30? Replaced power board and still same problem. The power light comes on and stays on. No blinking.

Try to unplug the TV for about 20 minutes and then press and hold power button on the TV for about 10 seconds to reset your television and plug TV back in and see if that resolves the issue. If they problem still is showing up then the screen is broken and the back light is not working anymore and needs to be replaced.

Vizio vp422 orange light stays on wont power up

I would double check the capacitors on the power supply board. Make sure you don't have any that are bulged at the tops. Secondly, when you try and turn it on, does the orange light flash at all??

Why won't my Panasonic 42 TCP42S30 42 Plasma TV turn on.

Switch off TV, switch off power, remove plug and wait for 48 hours and retry.
If problem persists, I suggest it is better to refer it to a qualified service
technician, since the back cover has to be opened for investigation/rectification.

Panasonic plasma TV power indicator light keeps blinking, no picture. Does not respond to power on/off switch.

How many blinks is the LED showing? The number of blinks correspond to a service code so that technicians can better diagnose the faulty component inside.
I'm doing factual research for a potential class action lawsuit regarding these "blinking lights of death" problems that the Panasonic plasmas are showing. I'd like to hear more about your experience. It's been a while since you've posted here. Have you contacted Panasonic? If you're willing to share your story with me, please email me at [email protected].

Panasonic plasma

If you open the back, look at the can shaped items. If any of them have the tops bulged out, they need to be replaced. This should solve your picture problem, unless there is something else wrong. What is happening,is they are heating up,and the picture goes out.I bet the longer you have the TV off,the longer it stays on?Hope this helps.Thank You very much!
