Change light in whirlpool gold accubake system upper microwave oven

If you need to replace the bulb for the interior cabinet, you'll need to remove the two screws that holds the upper grille in place with a Philips screwdriver.

Access to these screws are from on top of the microwave.

Once you remove the grille, you should see a white plastic cover with a release tab; pop the open and you'll have access to the bulb compartment:

Watch the following youtube video- the instruction phase of removing the grille and access to the bulb compartment starts at 2:40

My whirlpool gold accubake system display has eo f 2 ,my book is packed away for remodeling, so what do I do? Thanks

Hello & Welcome to FixYa

F2-E0 error means open/shorted oven temperature sensor and to solve this problem the sensor needs replacement. If you want to do it yourself and wan to be sure before replacing the sensor then you can test it with a voltmeter between 1080-1120ohms....if it reads more then or less then this then it needs replacement however, if the reading is around between 1080-1120ohms then it is the control board that needs replacement. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

My daughter did something to the door... when you close the door and set the time and start the display reads 'DOOR' as if it isn't closed and it won't start. Thanks for any assistance. Whirlpool...

i have seen this a few times. the m/w portion has seperate fuses and sometimes the cartridge fuse can be blown. it is located inside the top above oven. hard to get to without pulling the unit and getting the top off of unit.

I have the same problem, Whirlpool is not a good, quality appliance that you could get.

For the error code, refer to link below - not all are accounted for.

For a end users horrible experience with this appliance manufacturer...it's worth reading.
