Will droid browser work with a text now plan - Motorola Mobility Droid (2 GB) Cell Phone

you can do this with a wireless router. get My Phone Explorer from the android market then get the app for your pc. connect and sync over wifi through the router.. done. the cool thing is you can use your pc keyboard to send texts and make and answer calls as well.as backup your your skype, and google accounts, calendar.... well it will backup everything on your phone,,,,lol

Internet connections are not something you can send. If you are trying to surf the web you need to bring up your menu and go down to the picture of the world that says browser. If you are trying to use your phone to surf the internet through WiFi, you need to first turn it on in your settings menu and connect to your router. Then go back to the browser and your phone will use your WiFi for the internet and not your data plan.

You cannot do this. Straight Talk only allows phones with specific MEIDs on their network. You could use your Eris with PagePlus, another prepaid provider that uses the Verizon network. They have a 1200 minute/2000 text/100MB plan for $29.95/month.

When you're on a web page or any page, just double tap the screen and a plus/minus will come up in the lower right corner OR the screen will zoom in on it's own. Also while in the browser, you can put two fingers on the screen and "V" them out or in to adjust the font size or go into options while still in browser (bottom of phone screen between the return and home keys; it has the 4 horizontal lines on it) and go into settings > more> and you can see the options there for text size, etc.

From the home screen, go to Settings> Sound & display> Notification ringtone> then you can select "Silent" if you don't want any "Droid" noises when you get text messages, etc., or you can select a different notification sound.
