I have a 2002 jeep grand cherokke v8 and with 11000 miles and the check engine light came on today I did get gas last night but I removed the gas cap today and put it back on ... the light is still on last year this happened and the jeep dealer said it was the cap any suggestions..

Remove your negative cable for 5 min. from your battery to reset the comp. code. Put it back on. Drive it. If the light comes on, go to your local auto parts store, Autozone or someone big like that.
