How to clean carborator of TVs xl super - Motorcycles

VERY CAREFULLY! If you break or split any gaskets getting it apart, you're stuffed. If you lose the needle spring, you're stuffed. Once fully dis-assembled all ports can be accessed with a fine wire, however don't poke it through the holes in round discs in the bottom- these are one-way valves. Usually there will be gelled oil in the fuel inlet elbow. Fine wire should get around there, then blow out with air compressor. Be sure to check the bottom diaphragm for pin-holes, and blow out the LO/HI jet holes.

You have something assembled wrongly. Get a local mechanic to have a look see.

Your generator may use a carb used on many applications. Look closely on the shroud /cover of the engine itself for brand and model /serial number. Contact the parts dealer or even ebay for parts of that engine. Good luck

Could be many things. What kind of noise? Knocking, ticking, or just plain loud? Loud could be loose exhaust manifold, cracked manifold, bad exhaust gasket, bad exhaust pipe, ect. Knocks and ticks, squeals and more are different story. If you can't describe it, post a video.

good question there isnt much info on this online it does appear that you should have a 1 liter capacity of reserve tank so given that u should have a reserve the best i can suggest is on most motorcycles it tends to be all the way anticlockwise is on all the way clockwise is reserve and in the center is off other than that im afraid i cant be of much help but if im wrong keep checking here someone might have a batter answer for you

Look at Optical Engine Faults before buying a lamp or bulb. Replacement bulb will not repair these problems.

carborator needs to be cleaned and the float needs to be reset

there is to much oil in it . find fillplug remove some oil w/straw until it stop comeing out carb
