I was told by repair man that it is in the circuit board and it woukld have to be replaced. It stopped when I turned it down to Medium. My clothes still get dry!
some times the number of flashes and pauses will be an error code counting them could result in a solution also try turning off the breaker count to 5 turn on see if helps
a thermal limiter is a safety switch designed to keep a dryer from overheating, by either shutting off the heating element or the dryer itself if activated. They don't normally need replacing (unless you know your dryer overheated and activated it). If you have no heat in your dryer, chances are you have a bad heating element--the most common dryer problem
is there an error code displayed, then check tech spec sheet located inside unit? if no code, try measuring between pins 1 & 2 on plug J-4 if you have 120volts a.c. its the control board,if 0 volts are found then its the door switch
if that beeps on it's own and lights come on most likely when this happens it's the computer board,i've seen them start up just sitting there it will beep and then turn on.
I looked up your model and it is VERY similar to that of a Frigidaire model. Same rear bearing as a Frigidaire type. The front of the drum rides on felt. The controls are all quick connected with molex blocks so that is not an issue. I ran across a homemade video of the bearing being replaced by a homeowner who is by no means a tech just a guy who can git her done!
if its in the front of dryer you need the front brg and felt replace and the 4 slides . if in rear of drum replace rear barg and do the front . may also need a belt and idler . dryer sounds like if done a few loads .. hope this helps mm
