Hi,
I can see an option in here to increase volume bar in Motorola cable Box menu, if that is an option available there or check DMR-ES30V Menu settings for input volume level control.
Thanks.
It was requested to increase audio out level in cable box, do you see that option in Menu?
In DMR-ES30V if audio level is low, please check your audio source and increase audio level from that source so to DMR-ES30V will record it.
And if audio source (cable box) has no option to increase audio output level, please check connecting cables, make sure to connect audio digital cable between units to avoid unnecessary loss of audio level.
Thanks.
WHEN THE TV IS PLAYED THRU THE DVD, THE VOLUME IS QUITE LOW AT 100%.
SAME HAPPENS ON RECORDING. I'M TESTING THE SOUND THRU THE DVD AND CAN'T
SEEM TO USE THE MENUES FOR AUDIO ADJUSTMENTS EXCEPT BASS, TREBLE,
SURROUND,ETC. THE TV SOUND IS FINE AND ALSO MOVIES AND DISKS THAT WERE
MADE SOMEWHERE ELSE BUT NOT DISKS RECORDED ON THIS PLAYER. I HAVE
CHANGED THE COAXIAL CABLE THAT CONNECTS THECABLE BOX AND THE DVD WITH
NO POSITIVE RESULTS.

OK, that means cable box is sending enough audio level to dvd recorder and dvd recorder playback is also fine and its just its audio recording that is low when its being playback.
DVD recorder has fixed audio input level and there is no control available to change. Seems dvd recorder has problem with its audio circuit. If DMR-ES30V is under warranty, then send it to service center for fix.
and if its out of warranty, please check with local TV repair shop to see any cold solder joints or broken chip resistor in audio circuit of dvd recorder that causing low level in recording.
Thanks
welcome, any time.

USING A TIME WARNER CABLE BOX & REMOTE. BRING UP MENUE WITH REMOTE AND TOGGLE TO AUDIO AND PRESS OK. NOTHING HAPPENS. WHERE DO I GO FROM HERE?
