Does your have remote control? The original remote control has heating funtion.

Could be a defective relay in the outside unit

The only way to know the running current if it's not on the AC info plate with all the other info is to measure it.

If the compressor overheats, the clixon circuit will shut off the power to the motor to prevent damage. Then when it cools it will close the circuit and the compressor will again run to only shut down again.
The suction line going to the compressor should be cold - the cold gas returning to unit cools the hermetically sealed motor. If that line is hot you may be low on refrigerant.

check cooling fans fuse and relay.bad engine coolant temperature sensor will cause coolant fans not to turn on.if AC system not working with no refrigerant in the system cooling fans wont turn on when you turn on the AC.problem in PCM will cause fans not to turn on.

Welcome to the club, The AC units in cars use a large amount of power to run. Your is a 1300cc motor which is almost smaller then the AC unit itself, lol. What you have is normal and to fix it would be to get a bigger engine to run the AC. Everything strains a bit when the AC is on, all cars do it and yours being as powerful as a skateboard doesn't help. Your going to have to live with the problem of an under powered vehicle doing it's best to keep you cool. :.)

two things you may try, relocate ambient sensor to colder place, remove it from front bumper, and connect the two wires on refregerant temp sensor located @ rear of compressor, be carefull and observe your a/c system after doing this

have u tried recharging ur ac? u can buy the necessary recharge can with the gauge to recharge ur ac if that doesnt help it could b something more serious like a blower or ac pump?

Sounds like the cooling fan motor,or motors,are not working.Check the relays,and fuses for the cooling fans.If the ac is on,look to see if the cooling fan,or fans come on.If they do ,then most likely have an enternal ac system problem.The expansion valve is the most likely problem,or possible,the dryer.Have the ac system checked to see if it is low,or if the low side is going into a vacuum,if it is going into a vacuum,replace the expansion valve.First check to see if the cooling fans are working with ac on.If I can help,let me know.>>>[email protected]

the sun is for heat mode
the snow flake is for cooling mode
rain droplet is for dehumifiy the air if its a humid day.i hope this helps you.you have to choose the modes on the remote for the unit.then the unit will do the mode you choose on the day.
