Blue vertical line appears down left hand side of screen. I thought "dead pixels" but sometimes the line is gone and the screen is back to normal. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks, John.

It will be one of two things, the video cable from the computer to the monitor, if you can detach both ends, sub another cable, failing that the problem lies in the main board that is attached to the LCD panel and where the video is processed and viewed on the display. Unfortunately to repair this type of problem will exceed the amount for a new monitor.
