That is all.
New cards, but also cards used in other cameras, should be formatted, before you start shooting pictures.

If you normally download photos by taking the memory card out of your camera and putting it into a card reader, copy the photos from the internal memory to a memory card. See page 81 of the manual: http://service.us.panasonic.com/OPERMANPDF/DMCFS15.PDF
If you normally download photos by connecting your camera to your computer, remove any memory cards before connecting.
Your pictures may be corrupted. You can recover those corrupted pictures with this 1. Do not save any new pictures into the memory card of your camera. 2. Insert the memory card into a card reader. Connect it with computer. You should see memory card shown as a drive letter (like H:) in My Computer. 3. Download recovery software, recommended one is Tenorshare Data Recovery (simply because i was using it and it worked) http://www.any-data-recovery.com/product/datarecoverystandard.htm 4. Install and open the program, select your memory drive, and click 'Start' button to start scanning process which will find your deleted photos.
Probably one of two solutions. First, the memory card should have all the pictures intact. If you are using the camera to review, you may need to just keep going back until the memory card photos show. Another possibility is that the internal memory supersedes viewing the card memories. You may have to run a USB cable to your computer, download the internal memory photos, and then you can possibly see (on the camera) the memory card photos. It might be a good idea to download those photos to your computer too, if the computer has a memory card slot. Otherwise you will have to go through them and download via the USB again. Once you know the photos are saved, you can either change cards with a new one , or clear the old card and start again. Good Luck
I'm having the same problem. I called ATT and they are going to replace it via the insurance (I thought they only replaced lost phones). I've had it about 1 1/2 years. It says the memory is full but I did a master reset and even deleted some games.
1. Get a memory card.
2. Format the new card in the camera.
3. Go into the camera menu and find an entry for "copy" or some similar topic which would allow you to copy the contents of your internal memory to your new memory card. Once the pics are on the memory card, you should be able to download them to your computer.
Judging by your explanation, the photos are on your sd digital memory card rather than the internal memory.
Since you are unable to delete just those 15, it sounds like you might have accidentally enabled the "protect" function.
Get out your manual (or download a new one) and read about how to
protect/unprotect photos, and also read about how to format your card in
camera - something you should do on a VERY regular basis for the health
of your memory card.
While you have the book out, read ALL of it - twice! You'll be amazed how much you'll learn.
4. Select "Image Storage" option (by depressing the joystick on RHS of back of camera).
5. Select "Internal Memory" option (by depressing the joystick on RHS).
6. Select "Continue"
7. Press Menu button.
8. Press "Review" button
9. Press "Review" button again.
10. Press "Menu" button.
11. Scroll down to "Copy" and select this option by depressing the joystick.
12. Scroll down to "All", then select by depressing the joystick.
13. Contents should now copy over from internal memory to SD card.
14. Don't forget to reselect Auto detection of SD card afterward. This is done by turning camera off then back on again. Press "Review". Press "Menu". Select "Image Storage". Select "Auto". Select "Continue".
Talking about the Camera only here
Check the manual for internal memory use.
Put the memory card in.
Use the menu button to switch between internal and card
If your computer is XP you do not actually need any software to read the camera.
Check the manual re this
