SOURCE: I was given a Case tractor. It needed a fuel

Is your fuel pump working? are you getting fuel to the carb?

1. check for spark
2. check for compression in all cylinders
3. check carb (if it's been a long time since it was last started, you will need to just take the carb apart and clean it or get a carb rebuild kit. rebuild kit is easiest route and once you do that, you are done fussing with it.
4. Diagnose the problem.
a. try starting fluid directly into the carb. If it fires up then quits you have a fuel delivery problem. Once you figure out that, you can trace the problem back from the motor to the tank.
5. If you don't have any spark, try new plugs, then try new wires, then start going over your electrical system

SOURCE: Clutch on John Deere 2250 tractor not working

I would say you broke the clutch return springs or it is a hydraulic clutch and you need to bleed it.

I have a Case IH MX80 and after the tractor heats up (2 - 3 hours), I lose clutch. The clutch hydraulic reservoir is full as well as the hydraulic tranny level.

remove excessive fluid from clutch reservoir
check the clearance at the throw out lever to slave cylinder rod
check for blocked compensating port in clutch master cylinder
what you describe indicates a fluid pressure build up from heat being generated which expands the fluid
if it has no where to expand to it will push on the throw out bearing lever and slowly disengage the clutch ( slipping)
that effect multiplies the problem until the clutch plate will not absorb any more heat and so a condition known as brake fades
if every thing external proves to be in good order , the the problem may very well be a weak pressure plate for the clutch which is allowing the clutch plate to creep and eventually build up heat until it slips
replacement of the clutch kit will be expensive and time consuming so make sure or all external items first

Can the cable to the clutch pedal be adjusted on a case ih 8920. The pedal has to be released almost all the way for tractor to move.

it can be adjusted but in your case I suspect that the cable is ready to break unless the adjustment has cone loose.

2090 case trasmission problems

That's because you have two separate pumps controlling each. My best advice is to get a farm mechanic to take a look...it may be a simple seal to a need for a rebuilt pump. www.nyagparts.com
