My Husqvarna LGT 2554 deck hung up on high spot mowing. Turned off deck & mower pushed by hand. Engaged deck, started to mow, wound to stop. Belts fine. Pull up on knob to engage, you get nothing.

The engine runs but the blades do not engage? Make sure the wire connecting the electric clutch is still plugged in. If all is connected and the belt is really fine, there is a problem with either the electric clutch or PTO switch.

Blades will not engae on a husqvarna 42 inch riding lawn mower

It sounds like you could have a bad seat switch or maybe a loose wire at the pto switch or loose connection at the two wires going to the clutch. To check to see if you have current to the clutch, first check to see if your battery has at least 12 volts. pull the two wires apart going to the electric, then start the tractor then with a vom meter check for from 9 to 12 volts at these two wires anything less the clutch won't kick in. If you have voltage then you have a bad clutch or it needs adjusted. If you don't have voltage then you could have a bad pto switch. Also check your seat switch to be sure it is good. Good luck, hope this helps..

I have a husqvarna riding mower.. when i engage pto it kills the mower.. i direct wired the pto to the battery and it kicks on and off while mowing, mower runs fine when the pto is off please help

If you wired the pto directly to the battery and still kicks off and on, you have a bad pto clutch. They can be expensive but they are fairly easy to replace. Hope this helped.

Blades wont engage

Check for power to the clutch from the switch or could be a bad relay

Lawn tractor, blades won't engage

the circuit also goes to the trans so you can't mow in rev also on the brake/clutch pedal switch assuming you check the fuse already
