Replace the spark plug. Strip and clean the carburetor. Replace the fuel with fresh. But hang on though, the RY40002 is electric and runs with a 40 volt battery, so no spark plug and carburetor! :>D Replace the battery, lubricate everything from the motor to the head. Check the motor with nothing attached to it. The carbon brushes may need replacing or its bearings need greasing.

Paul you might want to replace the spark plug, make sure the gap on the plug is correct, make sure there is oil in the machine, some have a safety switch when the oil is low. If you cant buy a new spark plug you can sand off the tip that is probably black and replace it in the machine
Hi, gap is 8 thou. If this gap setting has not been altered from the factory it should be ok. Try a new sparkplug if you hav'nt already done so. Also try temporarily disconnecting the stop wire off the coil. If none of this works
