My cect i9 phone won't read the sd card

Whenever I go to audio player, and click on list, it says it's empty. I've put the music in the audio folder, the my_music folder, the music folder, and on the card without putting it in a folder. It says "MSDC read sector error". Help!

How to download music to my i9 mobile phone?

Hi melissaandsa. Connect the i9 to the PC.
The i9 will ask how it will be used by the PC.
Use "Mass Storage"
You will now see 2 new drives appear on you PC.
1 will be the phones memory the other will be the memory card.
Simply copy and paste you mp3's to the "My Music" folder.
Now you will see all the folders in the "My Music" or "MP3" folder.
Your music should be in your audio player.
It may ask you to reload or something similar accept and it should relist the music.

If not try changing the "List auto gen." option if you get no list ...
You get to the "List auto gen." option by two ways with the Audio player open and onscreen
for most i9 firmware (some firmware might not have it, or may be in another area);
1.) Tap the little wrench icon to the far right on the black option panel,
then scroll down to the List auto gen. option!
2.) Tap the List option at the bottom of the screen, tap the Options button
at the bottom of the screen, tap the Settings button, scroll down to List auto gen.
Now also make sure that in the "options" you are pointing at the SDcard.
One of these should help.

How get music from memory card to the audio player in a I9 phone

Alternatively, use your file manager and open the directory where you have stored the music files. Click on any song and that should open the music player. If that does not happen then check the music format. It shud be the same as the phones supported one. For example mp3 or aac or whatever your phone supports.

Help please how do i download ringtones on my sci phone

put the music on your SD card in the Audio Folder. Copy only the music, not the folders they are in (no subfolders). once you do this, open the audio player. at the bottom left, click list, then bottom left click options. click settings. the top slot tells where it wants to look for the music from, make sure it says memory card and not phone. click ok. should be able to see options again at bottom left, if not go through the steps again i have provided. click options then add. open the audio folder this is where your music should be. click on every song you want in your playlist. when you are done, click back this will show your playlist. click back again. this will take you to the audio player. you can play the music from here now. go back to the settings tab where you chose memory card as your source and the little cd icon which is list auto gen, turn it off.

Cant play the music

Add music to I9

Connect your i9 to your PC via the USB cable.
On the phone select "Mass Storage Device".

On the PC you will see 2 new drives appear.
One will be the SD card. The other is the Phones internal memory.

Now just simply copy your MP3 files to the Memory card folder "My Music".
Do not use the phones internal memory as it just is not big enough.

The Audio player will only play music from a folder called "My Music" or "MP3"
depending on which firmware version you have on your i9. If one doesn't work try naming it the other!
Also make sure you are selecting the right storage area in the Audio player options, either the phone
or the memory card, because there can be identical music folders on both, and if you don't choose the
correct storage location, your music files still won't show in the Audio player!
Make sure the audio file is in a format the i9 can play. Known music file types are mp3, wav, amr, m4a, & mp4.
DO NOT place music in sub folders within either of the My Music or MP3 main folders, the Audio player
will not find them unless the music files are directly within the proper My Music or MP3 folders!

Every time you add new music to your i9 you will need to refresh the List in order for the audio
player to see all the newly added songs. To do this open the player. Tap "List" at the bottom of
the screen. Tap "Options". Tap "Refresh list". You can also go into the audio player settings &
turn ON the "List auto gen." option. If the option is ON, then after you add new music, the new
music should be added to the entire list of music already showing. If you have problems with the
music list showing up empty, or new music you have just added not showing up in the current list
of songs, then try turning OFF the List auto gen option and refresh the list manually again by using
the Refresh list option as described earlier. Manually refreshing the music list must be done every
time you add new music files to the phone if the List auto gen option is OFF.

You get to the List auto gen option by two ways with the Audio player open and onscreen
for most i9 firmware (some firmware might not have it, or may be in another area);

1.) Tap the little wrench icon to the far right on the black option panel,
then scroll down to the List auto gen. option!

2.) Tap the List option at the bottom of the screen, tap the Options button
at the bottom of the
screen, tap the Settings button, scroll down to List auto gen.
