SOURCE: gaggia titanium coffee beans empty

Hi
If the big knob in the bean hopper is on a small #, that could be your problem. try opening the knob to the largest # and try again. If it clears and makes a cup, then on the next cup, while the grinder is operating turn the knob down again, but to a larger # than you had before. Grounds can get compacted in the chamber and prevent new grounds from entering. That is why it grinds but doesn't make a coffee. If that doesn't help, try opening the door above the brew unit funnel when the brew units is out. It should pull down on a hinge. This is the clicking you hear when you make a coffee.

SOURCE: coffee beans empty but not

Could Be one of 2 things, the grind is set too fine and the beans are not getting to the millstones, or there is something blocking the chute for the grounds.

It says that coffee bin is low but it is full

If it's the beans empty fault the grinder requires to be removed and cleaned out.
The problem is the coffee compacts blocking the dump chute.

'Grinder Blocked' error message

The grounds chamber is clogged, you will have to open the machine and clean out the chamber on the side of the grinder, it is the one covered with the little door, you might be able to get to it if you dremove the brew unit.

Beans stick in hopper

Bob,

Thanks for the help but I was well past that stage. After cleaning half a dozen times, changing beans three or four times, soldering the contacts on the switch, changing it, replacing the whole doser flap sled and anything else I could think to do I finally fixed it. It took me months but in the end it was the doser trap door not allowing the dozer flap to move back and hit the switch when the grounds came down. A simple light bending out fixed it. So...we had a rare mechanical issue. The machine does have a design flaw in that it has a long three inch shoot for the grounds which makes it susceptible to clogs. Do not use oily beans!
