Recently my laptop, lenovo 3000 N100, has a power shortage

Problem while it was still on and when I restarted it, the machine keeps rebooting. It cannot only get to the following page before it reboots again:
"We apologize for the inconvenience, but Windows did not start successfully. A recent hardware or software change might have caused it.If your computer stopped responding , restarted unexpectedly, or was automatically shut down to protect your files and folders, choose Last Known Good Configuration to revert to the most recent settings that worked. If a previous startup attempt was interrupted due to a power failure or becausethe Power or REset button was pressed , or if you aren't sure what caused the problem, choose Start Windows Normally.
Safe Mode
Safe Mode with Networking
Safe Mode with Command Prompt
etc. "
I have chosen to "Start Windows Normally" and also other Safe Mode but I cannot pass beyond this page before the system reboots again.
I am only a novice user so does not know what to do. Urgent help is needed. Thanks
Julie

I have a lenovo laptop computer. It will not charge. it has a shortage in the plug part of the computor or the cord has a shortage. can this be fix and how?

if you can find the short, cut the wire off by an inch on either side, now take wire strippers and strip the wires and join the two similar color wires with electrical tape make sure to do it one by one when your done test it then if all's good tape it up all nice

Black blank screen Lenovo 3000 N100

You say the laptop all of a sudden flashed off.

How old is the laptop? You may have suffered one of two things? First of all, if the hard drive will not boot back up, even after using the recovery discs, then that would explain it powering off. I have seen this happen on old desktop hard drives.

Next, try to get the transformer or adapter tested. It may not be putting out enough amperage to run the laptop.
