How to start a class

You need to reset the hi and lo filters for the device, as this is caused by a registry error or corruption
Close all open programs

Click on Start

Click Run

Type REGEDIT and press Enter

Vista doesn't come with the run command enabled so just type REGEDIT in the search bar above Start..

Click on the plus signs (+) next to the following folders to open them.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE

SYSTEM

CurrentControlSet

Control

Class

{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
(looks like same file name for XP and Vista?)

This folder is the DVD/CD-ROM Drive Class Description in the registry. Look for any of the following names in the right hand column.

Upper Filters
Lower Filters
Upper Filters.bak
Lower Filters.bak

Just go to sun.com
download jdk latest version..okay
them install it ...
after it go system properties then advanced then environment variable then

create new named path and write value "C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0\bin;"

now set your class path as named class path and value
"C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0\bin;.;"


then your java will install.

To check whether java is installed ...open notepad and write javac and hit enter .....if it gives many options then your java is installed......okay

Try this:

5) If any of the above keys shown in step 4 are listed, right-click on them and choose Delete
6) After deleting the keys, close the Registry Editor
7) Reboot your computer

Adding Subscriber Mailboxes:

1 – Feature 983
2 – Log: = 1020000 (3-digit DNs) or 120000 (2-digit DNs)
3 – Press MBOX
4 – Press ADD
5 – Mbox: enter mailbox number to be added
6 – Type:subscriber Press OK
7 – Ext: Dial station number (the mailbox and extension do not have to be the same, but for simplicity keep the same)
8 – Service class: Typical class is 1
9 – Name: Enter name (last name, first name) per letters on keypad. Dial as in texting for each letter. Press # to enter a comma between last name and first name.
10 – Directory?: YES or NO (for dial by name for company directory)
11 – Msg waiting: YES or NO (to enable “Message for you” display on phone press Yes)

After this set, you can pass by all the other information, since this is a basic setup for a mailbox.

Now that you created the mailbox, you still have to go into the programming to enable forwarding to voicemail.

Name programming requires access to system programming. If you go to the main phone and, without picking up the handset, press PROG and dial **1234 and ENTER, it will go into programming mode. Dial 004 and you are looking at the Ext Name screen. An ENTER at this point starts at 101 OPERATOR (default). Now just start pressing the letter keys and the right arrow to spell out the names. The keys press 7 times for ABCabc2. Punctuation and special characters are under the 1 and 0 keys and STORE or ENTER saves your work.

When I install my systems, I let everybody have access to the programming by class of service. You may be able to program from any phone in your system, it depends on the installer. The phone that rings when you dial "0" is probably the main phone if you can't program this from your own phone.

PROG exits programming.

Go to the Windows START menu.

Value Data: [Delete All Value Data from UpperFilters and LowerFilters] You will see the upper and lower filters folders once you get to the end of the tree… *\*\*\control\class
Note: Do not delete the Key or the Multi-String Values. Delete only the data values.
Exit Registry and Reboot

IF this does not solve the problem, I am almost positive you can fix it by doing the same steps but with another folder other than 4D36E965 etc.

I recently lost my CD/DVD drive when I (correctly) uninstalled a Roxio application from my Toshiba laptop. After a week of frustration, I finally found the fix. My CD/DVD drive is back!

Go to the Windows START menu.

Registry Key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class
In the CLASS folder, look for:
Key Name: {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

Value Data: [Delete All Value Data from UpperFilters and LowerFilters] You will see the upper and lower filters folders once you get to the end of the tree… *\*\*\control\class
If a backup folder for either the upper or lower filter folders shows up, clear all the data from these folders as well.

Note: Do not delete the Key or the Multi-String Values. Delete only the data values.
Exit Registry and Reboot
