Pietek motherboard movies & games are not playing clearly

You can try clear your movie data from the discs you\'ve played (according to Fox that\'s sometimes the culprit when a disc won\'t even load): restart your PS3 and go to the video menu and scroll up to the BluRay Data section. Go into it and check that it has saved some info for your movies. Now deleted all the data in this folder except the shared data crap, and hopefully your movies start perfectly!!



If that fails try the following:

In the XMB(menus) go to Settings ---> BD/DVD Settings ---> BD 1080p 24 Hz Output (HDMI). Turn that off. This has also been known to work.

Go to www.google.com andin the search box type "download vlc" (without the quotes). Look for the Video Lan download from site www.videolan.org/vlc Downloadand install it. It downloads and installs in 3 minutes or so. It'sa very fast player, smooth and it can play just about any type of dvd formatsand media. It's totally FREE.

you might need to add more computer ram if the game runs lots of graphics
if you are unsure on which ram you should be using
the Crucial Memory Advisor tool

The problem is probably with video card
First check the cooling fans on cpu and video, clean with vacuum if necessary
Then try to replace the video card

pl. check hardware requirements for the game, do check the compatability of your Video Card if it support for your card, certain games will not support for the video card compatibilty.

The DVD drives must match the motherboard that it came with. Unless you go through a very complicated re-flashing process. If the motherboard and DVD drive do not match, it will not play 360 games

Had the same issue. Next It will start doing the same thing with your PS3 games. Your blue-ray/lazer is going out it will quit working soon. Alot of PS3 have bad lazers in them. I replaced mine works great now.

i bought ps3 and it plays games ok i play a blueray and it had no colour.
