I had the same thing happen and it was the Blower motor. I went to Autozone and bought one for about 40 bucks, it was fairly easy to replace. the blower motor is under the hood
Barrel fuses used to be made of aluminum and corrode on the copper contacts. Pull fuses and replace. 10-15 dollars now will help get rid of electrical gremlins.
i have the same problem. try adjusting the pots and clean the lens. i might work. in my case a games start working. but i have ordered a new laser lens online. still havn`t got it. i think that will solve the problem
the thermostat is a variable rotation type. turning it in one direction varies a gap on a set of contacts mounted on the inside of the front panel. take the heater apart by taking out the four screws in back. the front panel should come off and you'll see the thermostat contacts. rotate the knob and see what the contacts do. if they make up, your element might be shot.
