Cannot get full screen picture

Full screen resolution depends on the source signal that you feed to your LCD TV. Most often, the signal come in 16:9 screen size, which sometimes show big black portion on both top and bottom of screen. To maximizes screen display, you can adjust the screen size of your LCD TV through remote control, this features are available in most LCD TV. you will have the option to choose Full Screen Mode, 16:9 screen resolution or many others to choose from (most case about 3 to 4 screen size.

I have just installed the above product. I am running a widescreen external monitor off my lenovo laptop. The issue is that the size of the app is about 1/2 the full screen size....when I max the screen...

That needs code changes. the program was set to have maximum maximized-window-state size that cant exceed the size you have maximized it to. So, it can't be made more than that unless through the codes by the developer.

Web pages are mimimized when I first connect to them.

One common complaint is that IE will not open a spawned window maximised. This is not a feature in IE. You can TRAIN IE to open a larger size and you can set IE to start full size. But to tell IE to launch all IE occurances to full screen is not supported.

To change IE to start full size, right click on the IE icon/shortcut and change the entry "Run" to "Maximized."
