Login facebook got new pc, windows 7, wont let me stay logged in, have to go thru forgot my password eveytime, but now it wont let me do that no more either, regards jim

Just open Facebook app and open it fill your login detail.
If forgot password click on forgot password and reset the same via SMS code confirmation.

If you are not able to boot your computer in normal mode or supposed your notebook is infected with Trojans or malware, you are able to get rid of them with Safe Mode. Furthermore, it is easier and safer to bypass Windows 7 logon password in Safe Mode when lost or forgot Windows password.
For Windows 7, there are 3 different types of safe mode, Safe Mode, Safe Mode with Networking and Safe Mode with Command Prompt. The following guide is about how to bypass Windows login password with Safe Mode with Command Prompt. With command in safe mode, you can reset Windows password. Details are as follow:
Step 1: Start or restart your Windows 7 computer.
Step 2: Press F8 to enter Advanced Boot Options before the Windows 7 loading screen appears.
Step 3: Choose Safe Mode with Command Prompt in the coming screen, and then press Enter.
Step 4: Wait for Windows 7 files to load until Windows login screen comes up.
Step 5: Log in with an administrator account until you see login screen.
Step 6: A Command Prompt appears. Type net user in the Command Prompt and then hit Enter. All Windows user accounts will be listed for you.
Step 7: Type "net user iSunshare 12345" and hit Enter.
Step 8: The new password has been successfully reset when the command is completed successfully.
Step 9: Log on your PC with the new password.

If you really can't log in, you should contact Facebook, not fixya. You can ask Facebook to reset your password so you can make a new password for your login.
Just press forgot password on the login screen.

Point your web browser at http://www.facebook.com

If another account comes up, log out of it by clicking the little down arrow in the upper-right then clicking "Log Out."

If you then still can't log in to your account, click the "Forgot your password?" link located just below the password box on the login page.

If you're getting an error message, exactly what does it say?

It seem s that you have two problems, I will address the windows 7 issue. you still need to retrieve your password from Facebook...
it seems that you networks is going into a sleep / hibernation mode. you need to go to the control panel...
power options... advance....
go to sleep.. never.. save and exit.

enter the email and password you used to register and click login. That should direct you to your facebook account. If you have forgotten your password, click on forgot password tab and request a new password. It will be sent to the email provided. From here you can sign in again using the new password

Lost Windows password:

• Login as Administrator. Try with no password (load safe mode if you don't see Administrator). Press F8 during boot to access Safe Mode. XP only.
  
• Login as other user (if other user is available) and manage users. Must be an administrator.
  
• Reformat computer.
  
• Use 3rd party software to remove password. Like http://www.top-password.com/reset-windows-password.html
  
• There is a free boot CD called Hirens. This one command prompt only. http://www.hirensbootcd.org/ Just tested this one and works. Just follow the exact steps.
  

maybe the reason you can login is because you forgot your password.You can request a password reset by clicking the "Forgot your password?" link located near the "Login" button on the log in page. We will then send you an email with a link to reset your password.

1. first you can user the "forgot My Password" link and try again after the email was sent to you.
2. open Windows NotePad and type your password - this is to make sure you are typing it correctly.
3. copy the password- make sure you don't copy extra space at the end
4. try to log in by pasting what you copied.

another option is that Facebook has some login issues - try to wait a day and see if it continues

you may also reconfigure your mobile phone to use direct internet connection instead of a wap proxy from your cell provider.
