there's a website reliable-store
all heavy equipment repair issues servicing, loading, wiring, engine proble ms everything is covered here its a must try
Sounds like you hooked the wires up wrong. Crutchfeild.com sells the direct plugs that go from the deck to the stock wiring harness. Its a good investment. But check your wires.
Unles its an aftermarket alarm system, which requires a turn-off switch or just pressing the brake pedal upon starting, you shouldnt have a prob w/ a factory remote. However, it could be the starter has gone out, a coil over plug is gone. Check your fuses to see if any are blown. Good luck!
did you have sound with old radio before ? did you use a wiring harnest ? check speaker wires or if you have the factory bose or concert sound system the factory amp probably went bad therefor you would have to run speaker wire from each speaker to correct the problem .
More info needed. Is it just a radio, a radio with a tape player/CD? What year is the truck? Is it the original radio? Most original radios have the amplifier built into the radio.
