2011 Dodge Ram 1500 Questions & Answers
I have a 2011 Dodge 1500 series when she’ll wipers would not stop until the motor gets warm and the instrument panel does not come on until the Motor gets warm can anybody help me
Hi there... Sounds life aftermarket work was done to your truck..... or it has drastically malfunctioned....... The electronics in your car were not made to be codependent upon the engine. Everything works in unison and has a job. So the electrical system shall have nothing to do with the engine warming up, if the engine does not start this would prevent starting the alternator and would not charge the battery, eventually the battery goes dead and you look for why, but I think your barking up the wrong tree on this one..... Maybe something else is happening that is coinciding with the ending warming up thats affecting your electrical system. It must be operating somewhat normal because the truck would not start if not, as for the engine IS dependent upon the electrical system and the electrical system is only partially dependent on the engine (the engine must run to run the alternator which charges your battery). If you asked me I would say you have a bad connection at your fuse box (if you do not have aftermarket work(if you do have aftermarket work start at your weakest connection)) or other faulty connection- I think your getting normal power but your accessories and instrument panel have a short somewhere, also the battery may have enough juice to start the engine but not to run the accessories until it runs a bit a charges a bit, you turn the truck off and it sits dying more so when you go to use it, theres only enough to start the truck? idk but this should give you a good start and good luck to you

I have a 2012 Dodge Ram.. I Keep trying and eventually it starts. I have replaced the fuel pump, spark plugs, and fuel relay. Once it gets started and warms up then I have no trouble starting it.
If you're experiencing difficulty starting your 2012 Dodge Ram, even after replacing the fuel pump, spark plugs, and fuel relay, there may be several other possible causes. Here are a few things you can check:
- Check the Battery: A weak battery can cause starting issues, especially in colder temperatures. Check the battery voltage and consider replacing the battery if it's not holding a charge or is more than a few years old.
- Inspect the Ignition System: The ignition system includes the spark plugs, ignition coils, and spark plug wires. If any of these components are worn, damaged, or corroded, it could cause starting problems. Check these components and replace them as necessary.
- Check the Fuel System: While you've already replaced the fuel pump and fuel relay, it's possible that there is still an issue with the fuel system. Check the fuel pressure to make sure it's within the manufacturer's specifications. If it's too low, there could be a problem with the fuel filter or fuel injectors.
- Check the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor: The engine coolant temperature sensor can affect the fuel system and cause starting problems if it's faulty or not reading the engine temperature correctly. Check this sensor and replace it if necessary.
- Check the Starter Motor: The starter motor could be failing or not engaging properly, which could cause starting problems. Check the starter motor and have it tested if necessary.
If none of these suggestions resolves the issue, it's recommended to take your vehicle to a certified mechanic or dealership for further diagnosis and repair.
2002 Ram Cummins A/C Compressor On/Off
Your A/C system have safety switches, IE-limit switches. You could have either low or high pressure kicking out your compressor. You need a set of gauges to tell what your issue is.
Red lightning bolt on 2008 Dodge Ram 5.7 hemi truck won't start, drove it to the vets came out and nothing...
The lightning bolt on the dash means that there is a problem with the electronic throttle control system in your vehicle. Get a code reader and scan the engine for any logged codes. The light may be on for a glitch and the electronic throttle control system needs to be reset.
To reset the Dodge Ram throttle position sensor(TPS), You need to turn on the ignition without Your foot on the brake, so the engine doesn't start. Then press the accelerator on the floor for 15 seconds. Release the accelerator. Then turn the car off and start the engine and drive.
