Name change How do i change the name on my phone. It has the name of the guy who sat here last and i would like to change it to my name

go to your local cell phone "hacker" store owned by a skilled professional. This will get you much better help than going to the electronics dunce behind the desk or phone line at wallmart. It might cost you a little, but support your little guy that knows what he's doing.

Make sure you have a space in between your first and last name.

This is a program, you can do this from extension 101

1. go to extension 101
2.lacate program code 604

this is the program number for the extension name

You have to change the contact settings.
Select Contact > Settings > Name Display > First name first

If you are using this phone on a Panasonic KX-TDA 30/100/200/600 system. From the Switcboard / Main telephone or Managers phone with the handset on the cradle/hook press Program * * or Program * # followed by the system password ( default is 1234). Now press 004 and then ENTER. Enter the extension number you want to change. Now enter the name (the same way as texting on a cellphone) To save the changes press AUTO DIAL / STORE. To go to the next extension press NEXT on the screen. When you are done lift the handset and put it down to exit program mode.

You were probably piggy-backing on someone else's router, and they changed names, passwords, etc. But if you have a cell phone and internet access with that cell phone, you can set such a cell phone up as a hot spot (sharing internet connection)! The cell phone will tell you the SSID #, as well as the password which you will have to enter into the HP printer to let it connect.

Enter new name
Press SPKR

1 - moves right
* - moves left
# - toggles between alpha mode / numeric mode
0 - scrolls the alpha / special characters

To blank out any portion of name press 1 ( in alpha mode ) and move cursor to thr right
