How do i Names to Extention numbers on the Panasonic KX-T7636

If you are using this phone on a Panasonic KX-TDA 30/100/200/600 system. From the Switcboard / Main telephone or Managers phone with the handset on the cradle/hook press Program * * or Program * # followed by the system password ( default is 1234). Now press 004 and then ENTER. Enter the extension number you want to change. Now enter the name (the same way as texting on a cellphone) To save the changes press AUTO DIAL / STORE. To go to the next extension press NEXT on the screen. When you are done lift the handset and put it down to exit program mode.

I need to change the Name DISPLAYED on my KX-T7636 Panasonic phone... the person using this desk set is no longer at the location and I have a new guy with the previous guys name showing on his phone screen. HELP!!!???

Hello here's how to change the name of your extensions. (All programming has to be done from the phone plugged in to Jack on the phone system) Press: Program -you will see: pits-pgm no? Press: * then # -you will see: password Enter: 1234 (that's the default) You will see: says-pgm no? Here's where you enter the code for what you want to change. People sometimes use 004 and scroll thru all of them. We are going to use 604 to change extension name. You will see: extension name Hit down arrow until you see the name you want to change. Then start typing the name by using the number pad. After you are done hit "store" Now go to that phone and pick up and put down the receiver to clear the old name.
