It can be a few things wrong here so the best thing for you and the safest for me to say is take it for a m.o.t even if you still have a long m.o.t. left not much money to pay to get this right

SOURCE: "Sticky" accelerator

no, that's not likely the throttle body. start by looking at the throttle body though, if there are cables going to it that control it, follow the cables back, one should go to the firewall, and one should go to a little black box. that box is you're cruise control unit. chances are that is what's causing the problem (try a salvage yard, they're cheaper than a dealer). however if there is an electric motor controlling the throttle, you should take the car to a shop to have it fixed.

SOURCE: 2003 Bonneville SSEI

I am having the same problem and also occasionally the cruise just shuts off when I am driving on dry, straight roads. Code C1288 was cleared, but it continues to happen. I was told that the electric brake module needs to be reprogrammed and that it will cost about $80.00. They are still looking into it.

Where is the neutral safety switch on my 2001 pontiac bonneville ssei?

Look down, behind the the air filter box. It is under the shift cable going to the transmission.

On A 2003 Pontiac Montana AWD, What could cause vibration in the front end while accelerating a right hand turn?

Left wheel bearing or either CV axle,(left or right) Axles usually make the vibration turn left or right. Bearings will get loader turning. When you turn right, the pressure is on the left side.

Grating soung coming the front wheel

is it like a growling noise, or a metallic "metal on metal" noise, is it clicking? when do you hear it? Common for wheel bearings to go out on those in my experience. usually you can narrow it to a wheel bearing if when you sway the car, you hear a growling noise towards the heavy end of the car, meaning if you turn to the left, causing the car to naturally sway right, the right hand tire front or rear starts making noise, thats usually a wheel bearing. If its a clicking noise while cornering and especially when corning with acceleration, thats usually a CV axle. if its a metal on metal noise, that can be a brake pad worn to low, or even just a simple backing plate to the brake rotor touching and rubbing the rotor.

My 1993 pontiac bonneville's front end shakes when i accelerate to 45-50mph, could this be becuse of a bad ignition coil? or something else?

Generally a front end shakes at that mileage is do to tires needing balanced especially if it stops when you go over 50 or more

I have a 2003 Pontiac Bonneville SSEI and I have a hard time steering to the right, there is no noise just hard steering. EC Ohio

Just to the right? Stand back and look at that tire and see if it is leaning one way or the other. If its affecting the steering it has to be an upper or lower ball joint. Hope it helps.

Stability system The "service stability system" light as well as the ABS and Brake lights have gone on. Is this a major repair? SHould the car serviced by a dealer? this is on a 2000 bonneville ssei.

the service stability light as well as the abs light is all conected to the wheel sensor. To fix it is simple if you kn,w how to do a brake job,it is all conected to the hub assembly. I replaced both front wheel sensors due to that problem. you can by the hub assembly for around 100.00 dollars at auto zone. the wire that connects to the wheel always breaks and these codes come up.
