I put a game in my xbox 360 and when i close the tray it makes a weird noise like the cd is skipping or scratching then im at the home screen and it says "open tray" what is the problem and how do i fix it my xbox 360 console wont read any discs, i put a brand new game or dvd, and there is no error message, it just says Open Tray,like if nothing is in the system Everthing was working great this morning, came home with a new Game and after I put it in the tray, it said reading and a minute later it syas open disc. Now it doesn't read any disks.
Check if you CD is break in the center. If it break, go in a EBGAME and told them your problem.
Well i would recommend you ask for assistance at your nearest electricals store and see what they would recommend they will proberly recommend something like a lens cleaner or a disc cleaner and use them both and if it still don't work then i would recommend to ring microsoft to see if your free 1 year warranty is still valid because if it is then they will repair it or send you a replacement and if the warranty isn't valid i would say find a video guide for opening up your xbox and see what the problem is sometimes it can be the track on lens because the lens is like on a track thing like the disc drive and if you turn your xbox off when its reading the xbox lens is at the back meaning next time you put in a game the lens will be too fair away to read the disc so that could be your problem

Ship it off to texas wherethey are made! My friend has one one and his had the same problem until thre people in texas fixed it.
