on the remote control there is a np button just press it and it restores the colour back to the screen i spent 20 dollars for a cleaner for my optic laser which had no effect whatsoever and thought it was a problem with the optic laser as your engineer diagnosed it would have cost me a couple of hundred pounds to have replaced thank heavan for my call to the company i purchased it from they told me immediatly what to do and bingo it worked and the information i recieved from your two experts was totally wrong
I found the drive mechanism to be stuck. Also there was a little oxidation on the pins on the drive tray plug. Solution was to move the lever underneath and to the front of the drive to free the mechanism, and remove and clean the pins on the plug. Worked fine after that
There's a multiplex button (MPX maybe) on the left front of the player. By hitting it you get leads only, background only or both. Be sure, though, you have a multiplex CD. Otherwise you'll only have background and no lead. I learned the hard way. Watch or scan for multiplex or lead vocals. Good luck...
i have finally found a solution to this problem press the repeat button on the front panel of the player twice till it says repeat all and it then plays the whole cd
