Problem for Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate Edition
Pnp drivers not found for Windows Vista!!!
I recently picked ua lap top with Windows Vista ulimate edition.... (Acer 4520) Also as I have a lot of data to back up I purchased a 120 GB External hard disc....When I plug the ExtHardDrive the device is recognised in the device manager but does not appear in My computer....I am unable to transfer important back up files to that due to this problem...The error message appears as "Pnp drivers" not found.....Even when I look up the net for a solution I am unable to get one...can u please help how to fix this Pnp issue....... go to the floowing link and download the document first and see if that is what ou looking for. if so, go back to the top and down laod the file.

GO TO GEEKS.COM AND PURCHASE A USB TO IDE INTERFACE. THEN TAKE YOUR HARD DRIVE OUT OF THE ENCLOSURE AND HOOK YOUR DRIVE TO THE CABLE AND HOOK UP THE POWER ADAPTER THAT COMES WITH IT. THE PROBLEM IS IN YOUR EXTERNAL DRIVES INTERFACE. IF YOU CANNOT SEE YOUR DRIVE WITH THE USB INTERFACE; THEN YOU HAVE A MAJOR PROBLEM WITH THE DRIVE.
