As far as I know you don't remove it. Check the drain isn't blocked and the best way to empty the water is by using a water vacuum

How do i remove a drip pan from a kenmore refrigerator

The drip pan collects water when the freezer goes into a defrost cycle. Most times there is very little water and the water evaporates quickly. When there is a problem with the freezer or the water does not evaporate between defrost cycles, the drip pan fills with water. If the front bottom of your refrigerator has a grille, you access the drip pan from the front. If there is no grille, access the drip pan from the rear.

Instructions
Rear Access

1 Unplug the refrigerator from the wall outlet. Pull the refrigerator away from the wall so that you can access the rear of the refrigerator.

2 Look under the refrigerator with a flashlight and locate the drip pan. Often when people install refrigerators they neglect to pull the packing from around the drip pan. The drip pan may have tape or styrofoam around it.

3 Remove any packing material away from the drip pan and pull the drip pan out from under the refrigerator.

Front Access

4 Pull the grille at the bottom of the refrigerator below the refrigerator door with your fingers. The grille secures to the refrigerator with plastic clips.

5 Remove any debris from the access area and throw the debris in the trash. The coils and fan under the refrigerator attract dust and dirt. Clean out the area with a lint brush if you have one.

6 Pull the drip pan out from under the refrigerator.

The drain pan under my refrigerator stinks really bad how can i remove it to clean it

The drain pan can be removed by lifting up the refrigerator and removing the four torex screws on the bottom of each side of the refrigerator. Use 2 pieces of 2x4 to hold up each side of the fridge while removing these screws. After removing the screws the bottom panel will separate from the refrigerator and you can remove the drip pan from the panel as it isn't attached by screws. The pan is VERY fragile and removing the drip pan is a two person job. I recommend just pouring bleach into the drip pan to kill any bacteria causing the smell by removing the back panel which will be held on by several quarter inch screws. You'll see the white drip pan on the right hand side of the fridge looking from the back.

How do I remove the drip pan from a side by side 6.5 Ingliss model I525AGXR002

If you have a removable drip pan get the kick plate off there and that pan should slide out the front. This machine is made by Whirlpool and I am thinking you maybe have a drip pan above the compressor. In that case yall would remove the rear dust cover and use a rag to clean out the pan as it is bolted down to the compressor. Model number don't show up on repair clinic or appliance parts pros.
