I have a Juki HZL-F Series and the thread keeps getting cought on the bobbin case when I sew and it makes a loud clanking noise i've replaced the needle and cleaned my machine also.

If the thread keeps getting caught on the bobbin case and making a loud clanking noise, it's possible that the bobbin case is not properly installed or is damaged. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot this issue:
  1. Check that the bobbin case is properly installed in the machine. The bobbin case should be securely snapped into place, and there should be no wobbling or movement when you gently tug on it.
  2. Inspect the bobbin case for damage. Look for any cracks, chips, or burrs that could be catching the thread. If you find any damage, replace the bobbin case.
  3. Check the tension on the bobbin case. The bobbin tension should be adjusted so that the thread pulls evenly and smoothly from the bobbin. If the tension is too loose, the thread can bunch up and get caught in the case.
  4. Make sure the thread is properly threaded through the machine. Check that the thread is not caught or looped around any of the machine's components.
  5. Try using a different type of thread. Some threads are more prone to breaking or getting caught in the machine than others.
If you've tried these steps and are still having trouble, it may be time to take your machine to a professional for servicing

I have a much older model of singer 9410 sewing machine. The feeder is frozen and as I was troubleshooting I took out the bobbin case and cannot get it back in!

First make sure that the bobbin case locking lever is fully back, away from the bobbin case area. This lever is on the left side and to the back of the bobbin area. The bobbin case needs to be put in so the forked end of the bobbin case slides under the feed (towards the needle and the center of the feed dogs). Next slide the front edge of the bobbin case under the position plate. Then turn the lever towards you to lock the bobbin case in place. Make sure that the bobbin case can still move slightly. If it's tight, move the lever again and reset the bobbin case.

For pictures of replacing the bobbin case, see page 39 of the manual. Singer has PDFs of most of their manuals on their support page: https://www.singer.com/support . The current support page for the 9410 is https://www.singer.com/search/support?title=9410 . The current link to the manual is https://res.cloudinary.com/singer-sewing/image/upload/fl_attachment/Singer-Website-Library/outdated_product/SINGER_7029_7033__7035_and_9410_Sewing_Machine.pdf .

I hope this helps.

The machine is locked up. I've tried checking for thread behind the bobbin case, but cannot get the bobbin case to move.

Check your owner's manual troubleshooting section.

Assuming the machine is jammed with thread:

Try removing all the thread, remove the needle, the presser foot and the needleplate (if it is removable). If there is a thread tangle in the bobbin area, try to snip the thread loops and gently pull with tweezers or needlenose pliers. The best thing would be to get the bobbin case out of the machine. Once the bobbin case is out, the thread should be pretty easy to remove.

Is not sewing properly

It SOUNDS like your bobbin case is either not in properly, your bobbin is either not correctly wound or too loosely wound, or your bobbin is warped. You can determine if it's warped (happens over time with plastic bobbins) by rolling it down a table top. If it wobbles, it's warped and needs replacing. They cheap to replace; I took a look and visually it appears that it's a Class 15 bobbin. I would also consult my user's manual; there is a troubleshooting section on the last page. If you don't have it, you can download it free at the Singer Sewing Machine site.

I have Brother LX-3125. I am using it for the first time. How can I take the bobbin out of the bobbin case. The case has an empty bobbin snapped in.

the lx 3125 has a front loading bobbin case which must be removed by pulling the latch on the bobbin case and thereby pulling the bobbin case from the shuttle.

once you have the bobbin case in your hand, let go of the latch and the bobbin will drop out of the case. you can now wind the bobbin or replace it with a wound bobbin - make sure that the bobbin thread is threaded down the slot in the case and behind the tension spring, also the bobbin should turn clockwise when you pull the bobbin thread when loking at the bobbin in the case.
