How to install an USB port in LG LH-T255 - Audio Players & Recorders

The USB socket is for reading multimedia USB Memory. Your phone has power in it. Not sure how that would work.

You may want to try your input in, if you have one as opposed to a usb port.

power on the dvd
let it load and show no disc
open tray and enter '0' four times
region edit and region code appears with the default code
press 0 for region free and enter
region code should be 0
press pause on remote
power off and on again

You can not view from the USB, since the USB port on the DVD player is ver 1.1. The transfer speed is to slow to watch a movie. Alternatively you can copy your movie from your flashdrive to the harddrive and watch from there. You will see what I mean with slow speed when you copy the movie. It takes ages.

Plug in the USB cable. Use the LG Installation disk to install the driver.
if you do not have the driver search Google with these words " LG U8330 Driver Installation disk" and you will find it or you can download the driver here:

Remember after you install the driver open the LG Phone Manager
and click on open COM port. The correct COM port has a little * beside it.
E.G. *11 or *03 etc., etc. then click on CONNECT.
