Check for the USB drive in Windows Explorer
Hello, This device should be plugged into any computer that has USB ports to plug into. Usually, you plug it in and you will see something pop up in the bottom right corner of the screen about installing usb drive. When it is done installing (usually takes about 1 minute), you can open My Computer and see it in there as a removable drive. Open it and save your files directly in there by copy and paste or drag and drop.
You just need to connect the Lexar 1Hb to the USB port on your computer and let the computer recognize it and then after that double click Mycomputer and you should see there the Lexar , just double click on it and now you can copy and paste music from your computer to the Lexar...
Have you already formatted the memory card? you may do this via the console of your camera. Sometimes you have to format it first before taking pictures as the computer will not recognize it. Please try a USB flash reader as well. by the way another symptom is that your Memcard is configured for 2.0 if your port on your computer is for 1.0 it might not be backward compatible. This happened to me on a Canon but it might be the case with yours as well. Please try to see if it will be read on another computer.

Yes. Connect it to your computer, then click my computer. You will see your drive listed among the hard drives. Make sure you select the right one (it should say removable drive or Lexar USB) right click it & select format. All files are deleted & the drive is reformatted & ready to use.
