Cell phone batteries have what is called a "memory" over time if they are charged without being fully drained they can start to not hold a charge. Unfortunetly the only fix for an issue like yours is to purchase a new battery. Your local retailer / service provider should have batteries in stock or they can order one for you.
It is recommended to allow the batteries to drain completely before charging, then allow at least 8 hours or more to fully charge. Most cell phone will show a full charge after a few hours, but this is more a fault with the software that check the batteries charge, then an actual indication of the battery being fully charged.

My HTC mobile phone drains its battery too fast. I have to charge it every hour. This phone is brand new - only five days old.

turn the phone on and let it charge completelty. Then go and shut the phone off. Reboot the phone in CMV which is dos for phones. (you can do this bypushing a combination of buttons usually power, volume down and home check to see what yours is) go through the menus and look for Wipe Battery stats. IF YOU DO NOT SEE IT go back to the main menu and reboot phone. Wait for phone to fully charge again and shut it off. Now while it is off keep plugging the phone in till it says it is fully charged. Then unplug the phone wait ten-15 seconds and plug back in until it reads 100% when you plug your charger in

Turn it off, & keep it off for a while. It's happened to me as well. Turn it back on & plug the charger in.

Just got a swagger and it wont keep charge. it shuts off in 10 min. what do I do? Also there is no screan how do I know if its charged right?

you have to make sure the player is off when ur charging it. or you can listen to it while its charging to make sure its not playing and charging at the same time. i had the same problem too. so just keep the ear phones plugged in and make sure its not playing while charging. and keep it turned off while charging. and you should be good. it will them play for like 1 to 2 hours. you might be thinking how can you turn it off and it still charges. but once the red light is on that means the computer regonizes it and its charging. good luck. facebook.com/kedisha queen-king

My phone keeps shutting off and wont charge wat is causing this?

Try shutting off the phone and taking out the battery. Blow air onto the battery and around the phone, and then put it back together. Try That. Sorry if it dosent work.

Phone shut off

Plug it into your walloutlet usb charger rather then the one connected to your pc. once your battery is so low it wont even have enough juice to show the charge battery screen if your chargeing through the low voltage pc active sync cable.
