Check System (Custom) EventLog for errors. You'll see all the conflicts over there.

Most likely your Mag-stripe info is missing from the card project in IDworks.
If you imported your projects from preface, its likly the box to include mag-stripe config was not transfer d.
enter idworks designer and click VIEW then field connections, there should be some info tied you mag-stripe field 1,2, or 3 of not there is the problem.

Next check printer plug ins in IDworks admin to make sure the mag-stripe plugin is installed. Also i would check Datacard.com Download section make sure you have newest and correct driver for your OS
if none of this works, uninstall everything (exporting projects) and reinstall.

Mag-strpe encoders can become defective, the encoder may need to be replaced.

Please post more info, Need Driver version and more info about problem. Can you access the printer toolbox?

Most likely you have lost connection between the project and the database connection, reset the connection in the designer File >> project properties

Under ID Works Standard Adminstrator, there is an icon for printer plug-ins that allows you to change this.
