Maybe you don-t respect the polarity(+ - )on the remote control or a imperfect contact on battery

Hi..ive lost the original remote for my reverse aircon...I have bought a universal remote..the model ti the unit is centrex #ctar60gw.

Set-up (Programming) procedure is too much to type in here, and is not practical and it will differ brand-to-brand remote controls. If you wish to get more; check the sites linked here. It has set-up code list & set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. One among it has general set-up codes to check with TVs and other devices are given, in the order of the 'device's brand name list' in alphabetical order. Pull up older posts. Search the sites by type in the brand name to your device in its search box at the top right part of the display window. It will help you to find the document easily.

My Split system Centrex CTAR60GW turns off about 10 minutes of cooling, the actual unit flashes on the timer button, have cleaned it replaced batteries and had 4 technicians out to have a look all of which...

Dear friend. the timer problem is very common. Remove battery from remote and also remove power to unit. Again plug power on unit and start with remote and try to cancel the timer on and off. Press set.
And also cool setting must be minimum 3 degree less than room temperature. Helpful advise?

I have a Centrex air keeps tripping breaker

The first thing I would check is the outdoor unit coil and see if it is restricted(dirty). If that is the case then you can wash it off with water(make sure you shut the power off to the unit first). If the outdoor coil is restricted and has little air flow thru it ,it can't get rid of the heat from the space and the compressor will draw over amperage and trip the breaker.
The next thing to check is if the outdoor fan is running. If the fan doesn't run it is the same as the restricted coil, it can't get rid of the heat from the coil. Check these things first then we can go from there! Thanks!!
