Check to make sure that your ink hasn't dried up. Just take a damp cloth (one you don't mind staining) to the underside of the cartridges themselves where the ink sprays out. If you get coloration on the cloth, you know your cartridges are good. Let me know if this is the case, and we can troubleshoot more.
