SOURCE: Casio Wave Captor Watch wont set to correct time.

You need to manually adjust or set the hands to the home position as they are not where the watch thinks they should be. This can happen when you bring your watch close to a strong magnetic field. Look in the manual to do this. Afterwards your watch should set to the correct time.

SOURCE: Sweep 2nd hand operation & watch time setting on my Pulsar watch.

The larger second hand on the Pulsar PF8036 is part of the stopwatch feature. The upper button starts/stops the stopwatch feature, and the lower button operates the lap/reset function. Why they made the larger hand work only with the stopwatch instead of the smaller hand to the left is beyond me, but that's how it is designed.

Invicta Watch Setting Instructions By Ashley Brown eHow Contributor Found This Helpful A watch is only useful if it displays the correct time. Over time, your watch may display the incorrect time as the battery wears down. After installing a new battery, you will also need to reset the time. All Invicta watches have similar instructions for setting the time. Setting the time does not require any tools or equipment.

It is for GMT.

I have a new invicta watch model number 6089 that I just recived yesterday. I can set the time and date but for some reason I can not set the 3 arm?? I have read the instructions and still it will not...

The trick to setting the 24hr hand on the 6089 is to pull the crown out only one notch (not two) before using the upper push button to change the time. As it's a 24hr hand, the best time to set it is at the top of the hour.

The 24hr hand is meant to keep time in another

I too was confused at first at setting the second hand after reading the directions. I read your post in searching for a solution, then I figured it out. Check the watch face, the second hand is operating using military time. (24 hr. time) You will see 24 hour time embedded on the face.
For example: if you wanted to set both hands to be at the same time to test this. At say 10 p.m. set the second time hand to 22 for 2200 hrs. (10 p.m.) Let's say you woke up at 7 a.m. The second hand would be at 0700 (Embedded on watch face) then at noon it would say 1200 on the watch face... I now use the normal hands for local time and set the 24 hour hand for my home time.
I hope this helps.
