SOURCE: RCA cassette recorder/player keeps shutting off. argggg

fast forward, reverse the cassette and fast forward again. if the tape is too tight the current sensor will always trip out the motor.

SOURCE: cassette player problem

Sounds like the take-up reel isn't turning. Often the linkage for the take-up reel is used for both Play and Fast Forward. So test the Fast Forward.

I would look for a broken belt or slipping drive wheel. The fact that the tapes are unraveling tells me that the capstan is pulling the tape out of the feed reel.

Home Audio system MS9825 The remote became corroded and we ordered a new reconditioned one which still doesn't work. Can you help or can we order a new remote from you?

You bought a "new" reconditioned remote and it doesn't work?

You should send it back for exchange or refund.
I haven't encountered reconditioned remotes before. I doubt there is much profit in reconditioning remote controls when new dedicated replacements are available at such reasonable prices. Often new original remotes aren't expensive if they are available.

I have a PYEvideo dvd recorder with video cassette recorder,PY90VG.i need remote control # NB654UD.remote control quit working

Provided you know the part/model number of the original remote, and you're prepared to spend the extra few dollars to replace the original remote with an identical new one, assuming it is still available, then go ahead and order it. Otherwise try a universal remote which is cheaper.

Not all functions can be guaranteed with a universal remote but most of them should work. Universals are cheap enough to buy just about anywhere. Only consider this option if the original remote control is not possible to buy or no longer available.
