Check condenser is clean, fans working, thermostat set correctly, try to check internal temp with digital thermometer

low on gas or defrost mode failure....if the element become frozen then the air will not circulate around freezer compartment properly....check the defrost element or timer.

The best temperature is the midpoint. Typically 3 or 4. The alarm will go off once the temperature goes down to the freezing point.

Is just a little switch on inside of the door hinge covers if you short it out the alarms will never go off again.

The alarm is set off when the freezer is out of the differential range of the setpoint. In other words, the freezer is still too warm. If you press the alarm button, the sound will stop but the light will stay on. If the unit is working correctly and cooling properly, this light should go out once the cabinet temperature gets close to the setpoint temperature. Hope this helps you.
