You need to start with a volt meter. check the power first at the disconect then follow them wires inside the unit to the contactor check them were they connect on the contactor. then check them on the other side of the contactor. it there is no power there find your transformer check and make sure you got 24 volts if not you need a transformer or maybe just a fuse. does your indoor fan run? compressor and outdoor fan will usually run together. look at your wiring diagram and check voltages at each control device. if your indoor fan runs push in the contactor and see if the compressor comes on use a stick so you dont get shocked. So to sum things up if nothing works problem is probably transformer or tstat or main power. If compressor and outdoor fan don't work could be contactor or capacitor if one of outdoor parts runs but not the other then that individual motor could be devective. but it could also be out on a control such as low pressure switch (low freon)

Does the indoor blower come on? If not you might have a low voltage problem in your thermostat circuit or blown breaker or fuse for your furnace which energizes the contactor outdoors. If indoor blower runs check if their are any fuses in your outdoor disconnect.

Our airconditioner is not pushing cold air but it is running....the vents have little air coming o ut but not a lot and the house is not cooling.

Check the filters . It sounds as though its iced up. had the unit been running for a long period of time? If so you might see ice on the indoor coil . If so shut down the cooling leaving the fan on to help deice the unit . If it ices up again then you may have a fan that is running slow or a coil that is plugged with lint due to inproper filter service .. check the coil for ice and let me know.. Jon

MY AC SHUTS OFF AND CODE E1 COMES UP

This is a reminder to clean the air filter. It happens every 720 hours of operation. Here are the steps to get it back up and running:1. Power down the air conditioner using the "power" button on the front panel.2. Unplug the air conditioner from the wall socket.3. Hold the front panel "power" button down and plug the airconditioner in. Continue to hold the power button down as the machine goes through a brief test sequence (fan & compressor each come on briefly, etc). There is a "beep" sound at the end of the test sequence, and the machine will be off. At this point, you can release the power button.4. Unplug the air conditioner.5. Plug the air conditioner back in.6. Congratulations! You should now be able to operate the airconditioner normally for another 720 hours, but only if you followed the instructions above EXACTLY.

My airconditioner is not cooling enough what could be the problem

Make sure the outdoor fan is running and check your air filters. Also make sure the indoor and outdoor coils are clean. If all is good then get the refrigerant charge checked.

Airconditioner unit on my RV will not run.

Check to see if you have the proper voltage to the air conditioner and check your breaker. The clicking you are probably hearing is the thermostat opening and closing when you turn it up or down.
